Abstract
The invention relates to an implantable infusion pump comprising a septum (10a), which receives an active agent to be discharged and allows filling the pump, an active agent space (10) provided with an outlet (10b) that introduces the active agent into the body of the patient, optionally via a catheter, a propellant gas chamber (12) containing a propellant gas, a flexible separating element (14) separating the active agent space (10) from the propellant gas chamber (12), a throttle segment (26) which ensures that an amount of active agent sufficient to cover the basic needs of the patient is discharged from the outlet (10b), an electrically controllable valve (20) associated to the throttle segment (26), and an induction coil (22) and a circuit that operates the opening of the valve (20) during the injection of electrical energy into the induction coil (22). The invention also relates to a control device and a detection device for such a pump.
