Abstract

A device designed for implantation into a body to control fluid flow through a lumen in a body that includes at least one leaflet adapted to be located within the lumen. The leaflet(s) include(s) an anchor portion that remains substantially stationary within the lumen and a seal portion that is movable between open and closed positions. The leaflet(s) are made from a thin-film metal alloy that has a thickness which is less than 50 microns.
