Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Rotor (1), der in einer Hauptströmungsrichtung (H) von einem Fluid durchströmt und mit zumindest einem um eine Rotorachse drehbar angeordneten Rotorblatt (4) ausgestattet ist. Das Rotorblatt (4) erstreckt sich zumindest abschnittsweise von der Drehachse (2) weg in das Fluid. Durch die Drehung (D) des Rotorblattes (4) um die Drehachse (2) in eine vorbestimmte Drehrichtung wird eine gegen die Hauptströmungsrichtung gerichtete Vortriebskraft, bzw. aufgrund der Strömung ein Drehmoment um die Drehachse erzeugt. Um bei derartigen Rotoren eine Verringerung der Blattspitzenwirbel an den Enden des Rotorblattes und dadurch eine Verringerung der strömungsmechanischen Verluste und der Strömungsgeräusche zu erreichen, ist erfindungsgemäss vorgesehen, dass sich das Rotorblatt (4) in einem vorbestimmten Abstand von der Drehachse in zumindest zwei Teilblättern (5, 6) fortsetzt und eine Schlaufe bildet. Dabei erstreckt sich das eine Teilblatt (5) zumindest in einem Bereich nahe dem Rotorblatt relativ zum Rotorblatt (4) in Drehrichtung (D) und das andere Teilblatt erstreckt sich zumindest in einem Bereich nahe dem Rotorblatt (4) relativ zum Rotorblatt (4) entgegen der Drehrichtung (D). An ihren Enden sind die beiden Teilblätter (5, 6) einstückig miteinander verbunden, so dass sie eine vom Fluid durchströmte Schlaufenfläche (12) umschliessen, die sich im wesentlichen quer zur Hauptströmungsrichtung erstreckt.
