Bei den bekannten Markierungsstoffen kann es sich beispielsweise um Farbpigmente einer signifikanten Farbe oder vergleichbare Stoffe handeln, die beispielsweise dadurch erkannt werden können, daß die Jetons oder Spielmarken in einer Sortier- und/oder Zählmaschine jeweils mit einem weißen Lichtblitz angestrahlt werden und die Reflektion in der zur jeweiligen Farbe gehörenden Wellenlänge gemessen wird.
