Abstract
A display container for a polyurethane product includes a space defining a receiving section, and first edge and second edge enclosing the receiving section. The first edge provides a sealed closure. The second edge defines an opening, and the opening is adapted to be closed by the second edge after the display container is subject to a vacuumizing process to vacuumize the receiving section. When the polyurethane product is to be stored in the display container, the opening allows the polyurethane product to be inserted into the receiving section. Moreover, the polyurethane product is stored in the receiving section in a vacuumized condition.

-
FIGS. 9 and 10 show a conventional display container for apolyurethane product 3. The display container includes aback board 1, and areceptacle 2 having acavity 201 for receiving thepolyurethane product 3 therein and acircumferential edge 202 extending along a circumference of an opening of thecavity 201 and attached to a surface provided by theback board 1 in order to fix thereceptacle 2 to theback board 1. The opening of thecavity 201 is defined at a distal end thereof. In using the display container to pack thepolyurethane product 3, thepolyurethane product 3 is first disposed in thecavity 201 of thereceptacle 2, thereceptacle 2 is attached to theback board 1 by an adhesive or a staple(s) or a sealing device thereafter, and therefore, the product would be retained between a wall of thereceptacle 2 and the surface of theback board 1. Moreover, the opening of thecavity 201 is closed by the surface of theback board 1. Additionally, theback board 1 includes a hanging hole that allows it to be hanged for display defined therethrough. - The

FIGS. 1 through 4 show adisplay container 10 for apolyurethane product 20 in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention. Thedisplay container 10 includes a space enclosed byfirst edge 101 andsecond edge 102 thereof. The space defines a receivingsection 11 thepolyurethane product 20 is received therein when it is stored in thedisplay container 10. Thefirst edge 101 has a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits thereceiving section 11 partially and an outer periphery thereof that delimits a circumference of thedisplay container 10 partially. Moreover, thereceiving section 11 where thefirst edge 101 surrounds provides a sealed closure. Therefore, thefirst edge 101 can not allow thepolyurethane product 20 to insert into thereceiving section 11. In the preferred embodiment, thefirst edge 101 includes two opposing portions in a spaced relationship and a portion extending therebetween and joins the two opposing portions to form a continuous edge. Additionally, thesecond edge 102 defines anopening 12 thereon, and therefore, thepolyurethane product 20 can be inserted into the receivingsection 11 through theopening 12. - After the

Specifically, it has 600%-800% elongation, and 2-10 times better abrasion resistance and solvent resistance than natural rubber. Additionally, thepolyurethane product 20 is in a form of a strap and is flexible enough to be rolled into a coil which includes a series of concentric circles. Consequently, thepolyurethane product 20 does not occupy a large space of the receivingsection 11. -
FIGS. 5 and 6 show a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment is a display container set 100 a including a plurality ofdisplay containers 10 a detachably engaged together in a row. Each of thedisplay containers 10 a includes afirst edge 101 a having a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits thereceiving section 11 a partially and an outer periphery thereof that delimits a circumference of the display container partially, with thefirst edge 101 a providing a sealed closure, and asecond edge 102 a cooperating with the outer periphery of the first edge to delimit the circumference of the display container. Also, each of thedisplay containers 10 a is similar to thedisplay container 10 and includes apolyurethane product 20 received therein. Eachpolyurethane product 20 is disposed in a center of areceiving section 11 a of thedisplay container 10 a. Thepolyurethane products 20 are stored in a vacuumized condition and are prevented from being deteriorated due to oxidization. Further, aconnecting edge 40 a is defined on a portion of the outer periphery of thefirst edge 101 a of eachdisplay container 10 a. Theconnecting edges 40 a of twoadjacent display containers 10 a are engaged with each other, and therefore, the twodisplay containers 10 a are attached to one another. Additionally, the twodisplay containers 10 a are adapted to be separated form each other by disengaging from theconnecting edges 40 a. In the preferred embodiment, theconnecting edge 40 a for eachdisplay container 10 a is in a serrated form which includes a series of consecutive teeth. -
FIGS. 7 and 8 show a third embodiment of the present invention. The third embodiment is a display container set 100 b including a plurality ofdisplay containers 10 b detachably engaged together in a column. Each of thedisplay containers 10 b includes afirst edge 101 b having a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits the receivingsection 11 b partially and an outer periphery thereof that delimits a circumference of the display container partially, with thefirst edge 101 b providing a sealed closure, and asecond edge 102 b cooperating with the outer periphery of the first edge to delimit the circumference of the display container. The connecting edges 40 b of twoadjacent display containers 10 b are engaged with each other, and therefore, the twodisplay containers 10 b are attached to one another. Additionally, the twodisplay containers 10 b are adapted to be separated form each other by disengaging from the connectingedges 40 b. In the preferred embodiment, the connectingedge 40 b for eachdisplay container 10 b is in a serrated form which includes a series of consecutive teeth. - In view of the forgoing, the
display container 10 is of a simple structure and it eliminates materials and eases a complicated packing process of using a conventional display container. Likewise, eachdisplay container polyurethane products 20 are prevented from being deteriorated due to oxidization. Furthermore, thedisplay container 10 and eachdisplay container - While the specific embodiments have been illustrated and described, numerous modifications come to mind without significantly departing from the spirit of invention, and the scope of invention is only limited by the scope of the accompanying claims.
