Be it known that I, TILTON E. SMITH, of Attica, Lapeer county, Michigan, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Table- Leaf Lifter and Supporter, of whichthe fol- The object of this invention is to provide easy and convenient means for raising and supporting the leaves of (lining and other tables; and it consists of a movable bar, which is connected with two sliding lifters by means of hook-rods and a center-pin.

A represents the table-frame. Bis a central cross'piece, having mortise, through which the bar 0 is passed. D isa long slot in one of the end rails of the frame, through which one end of the barO projects. The bar 0 turns horizontally on a central pin, E, in the mortise. F F are the two lifters and supporters. G G are two hook-rods, attached to the lifters F F by means of staples, as seen at H, and hook gravity.
