Description

The invention relates to an automatic chemical Analysis device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Anschließend wird die Blutgruppe der Blutprobe durch Erfassen des Partikelmusters beurteilt, das sich am Boden des Reaktionsgefäßes nach der Reaktion gebildet hat.JP 61-59454 B2 describes a method for automatic er Agglutination patterns have been proposed to the Determination of the blood type or blood group and the registration different antigens and antibodies, e.g. B. HB antigen and Syphilis antibody when using very small amounts of Allow blood tests. These agglutination patterns will be in the immunological agglutination reaction between anti genes and antibodies formed on the bottom of reaction vessels. In this known method there are one in a microplate Number of reaction vessels arranged in a matrix and at least part of the bottom wall of each reaction vessel is like this designed to have an inclined surface. Example the bottom of the reaction vessel is conical in shape shaped. A predetermined amount of a blood cell sample Blood sample whose blood type or group is to be determined and a predetermined amount of a standard antiserum reagent is added to the Reaction tube introduced to carry out the reactions while the microplate is essentially kept still. An agglutinated particle pattern or forms non-agglutinated particle pattern on the sloping floor surface of the reaction vessel. This means that not agglutinated blood particles along the sloping floor Roll down the surface of the reaction tube while agglutinating  Blood particles hardly down along the inclined surface of the ground roll. The blood group of the blood sample is then checked Detection of the particle pattern assessed at the bottom of the Reaction vessel has formed after the reaction.

In US 4,727,033 (corresponds to DE 32 46 873 A1) there is one automatic chemical analyzer described in the the analysis method explained above is also automatic is performed. In this well-known automatic chemical Analyzer can do different types of analysis optionally be carried out by the same device. This means that the analysis of types and types of blood particles, e.g. B. red blood cells, white blood cells, blood platelets and lymphocytes; Components in sera, e.g. B. under different types of antibodies, antigens, specific Proteins and viruses; as well as foreign bodies by using Blood cells, latex particles and carbon particles in the Analyzer run. This analyzer is very small and therefore requires little to install Space.

Fig. 4 shows schematically the arrangement of the known automa tical chemical analysis device, as described in the aforementioned US patent.

A blood sample taken from a patient is contained in a test tube 46 , on which a sample identification sticker 47 is attached, on which sample identification data of the respective patient are recorded. The sample identification data is recorded in the form of a bar code. The test tubes 46 , which contain the blood samples from patients, are placed in a rack 48 and the rack is moved through a rack transport device 49 , e.g. B. a conveyor belt, conveyed into a diluent supply device 52 . In addition to the conveyor path of the frame 48 , a sample identification data reading device 50 , for. B. a bar code reader, arranged to read the identification data located on the sticker 47 , while the frame 48 migrates through the identification data reading device. The sample identification data 51 read by the reading device 50 is supplied to a central processing unit (CPU) 73 for controlling the operation of all components of the analysis device and for evaluating the analysis results.

The blood sample contained in the test tube 46 is diluted by the diluent supply device 52, and then a diluted blood sample is introduced into a sample vessel 53 . The sample vessel 53 is then brought into a sample supply position 54 . At the same time, a microplate 56 , which is arranged in a microplate stack section 57 , is brought into the sample supply position 54 by a microplate transport device 58 . In each microplate 56 , a number of reaction vessels 55 are arranged in a matrix, and at least part of a bottom wall of each reaction vessel is inclined. In the present embodiment, the bottom of the reaction vessel 55 is shaped in a conical shape.

The reaction vessels 55 in the microplate 56 are successively brought into the sample supply position 54 , and a predetermined amount of a diluted sample is filled into a reaction vessel 55 , which is formed in the microplate 56 , by means of a sample supply nozzle 59 . Furthermore, one of the reagents is filled into the reaction vessel 55 through a reagent supply can 60 . At the sample feed point 54 , a sensor 61 is arranged to detect the presence of the microplate 56 . A microplate detection signal 62 generated by the sensor 61 is supplied to the CPU 73 and in number of the micro plates 56, one after the other in the position Probenzuführ be transported 54 is counted on the basis of this signal 62nd

The microplate 56 , in which samples and reagents are filled, is then brought into a reaction belt 63 by means of the transport device 58 through an inlet opening 61-1 of the reaction belt 63 .

The reaction belt 63 includes a lifting mechanism 63-2 to move the microplates 56 down in the reaction belt 63 . In this way, the microplate 56 accommodated in the reaction belt 63 can be held for a predetermined reaction time. It should be noted that the different analyzes are carried out during the same reaction time. During the reaction time, the particles are agglutinated or non-agglutinated to form the agglutinated particle pattern or the non-agglutinated particle pattern. After the agglutination reaction, the microplate 56 is conveyed into a photometric position 65 by means of a transport mechanism 64 through an outlet opening 63-3 of the reaction belt 63 .

Next, the microplate 56 is brought into a photoelectric measuring position 65 and the particle patterns formed on the inclined surfaces of the reaction vessels 55 in the microplate 56 are measured with the aid of a photodetector 66 , e.g. B. CCD camera, photoelectrically detected. A particle pattern detection signal 67 generated by the photodetector 66 is supplied to the CPU 73 . Furthermore, a sensor 68 for detecting the microplate 56 is arranged at the measuring point 65 and a microplate detection signal 67 is fed to the CPU 73 . In the CPU 73 , the microplate detection signals are counted to identify integer numbers of successive microplates that have been brought into the measuring point 65 . After the photometric measurement, the microplate 56 is conveyed out of the measuring point 65 by the transport mechanism 64 .

Fig. 5 is a schematic view which explains the flow of data in the above-described known analysis device. In order to correctly process the measured analysis data 67 by the photo detector 66 for a blood sample 71 in order to obtain an output by means of an output device 72 , it is necessary to use the photoelectrically recorded analytical data 67 on the inclined bottom wall of the reaction vessel 55 in to assign the microplate 56 formed particle patterns to the sample identification data 51 in a correct manner.

In the known analysis device as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, it is absolutely necessary to confirm that the microplate 56 before the reaction on the reaction belt 63 is identical to the microplate 56 after the reaction in order to obtain the measured analytical data 67 assign the sample identification data 51 in the correct manner. This means that the microplate 56 in which the blood samples and reagents have been brought together must be confirmed to be identical to the microplate which is in the photometric position 65 after the reaction.

However, the sensors 61 and 68 are provided in the known analysis device depending on the sample supply point 54 and the measuring point 65 in order to determine the presence of the microplates by He test the microplate detection signals 62 and 69 , so that it is impossible to the respective microplates 56 identify. In the known analysis device, the identification of the microplates is performed by counting the microplate detection signals to obtain an integer number of the successive microplates. If the analysis is interrupted due to mechanical or electrical disturbances, so that correct counting cannot be carried out, it is therefore no longer possible to carry out the identification of the microplates 56 since the sensors 61 and 68 cannot detect the microplates in question.

It should be noted that a plurality of microplates 56 are used simultaneously in the analyzer and there are no means to identify the respective microplates, so that while the analyzer is interrupted, it is impossible to distinguish these microplates from each other by: she is watching. Therefore, the reliability of the analysis data can no longer be guaranteed after the resumption of operation.

From the generic US 4,873,633 is an automatic chemical analysis device known in which the used Microplates also each have a microplate identification data have member whose data by means of a reading device to be read. On each microplate 6 , microplate identification members 1 for identifying the respective microplates 6 are arranged. Each microplate identification member 1 carries a first identification data section 1-1 , which can be detected photoelectrically and a second identification data section 1-2 , which can be recognized by an operator with the eye. At the feed point 7 , at which samples and reagents are introduced into the reaction vessels 6-1 of the microplates 6 , a first microplate identification data reading device 11-1 for reading first microplate identification data 12-1 is arranged. This first microplate identification data 12-1 is supplied to the CPU 16 . Then, the CPU 16 processes the sample identification data 13 and the first microplate identification data 12-1 to form an identification table that establishes the relationship between the samples 2-1 and the microplate 6 . A method for forming the identification table is known in the prior art, so that it is not further explained in this description.

After the blood samples and reagents have been supplied, the microplate 6 is transported onto a reaction belt 8 . After the reaction, the microplate 6 is brought into a measuring position 10 by the reaction belt 8 . At the measuring point 10 , a photo detector 9 is arranged for detecting particle patterns which are formed on the bottoms of the reaction vessels 6-1 and the photo-electrically measured data 14 are supplied to the CPU 16 . At the measuring point 10 , a second microplate identification data reading device 11-2 is arranged to detect second microplate identification data 12-2 . These second microplate identification data 12-2 are also supplied to the CPU 16 . In the CPU 16 , the above-mentioned identification table is searched out in accordance with the second microplate identification data 12-2 to find the mutual relationship between the respective microplate 6 and the samples 2-1 . This means that by looking up the identification table based on the second microplate identification data 12-2, it is possible to relate the measured data 14 to the samples 2-1 which are put into the reaction vessels 6-1 of the respective microplate 6 have been filled in. In this way, it is possible at any time to confirm that the microplate 6 into which the samples and reagents have been filled at the feed point 7 is the same as the microplate whose measured data has just been acquired, so that the reliability of the assignment of the analysis results can be improved.

In the present embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the device is constructed so that the analysis of antigen-antibody reactions can be carried out by using the immunological agglutination reaction. Since the successive analysis steps are the same as those in the known analysis device, as illustrated in FIGS . 4 and 5, they are not explained.

As explained above, the microplate identification member 1 , which is a bar code sticker here, is attached to the microplate 6 , which has a number of matrix-shaped arranged reaction vessels 6-1 . The reaction vessels 6-1 have a conical bottom. The microplate identification member 1 is applied to the microplate 6 when the microplate 6 is placed in a microplate stack 22 .

At the feed point 7 blood samples 2-1 , which are contained in the sample tubes 2-4 , are diluted and predetermined amounts of the diluted blood samples and reagents are introduced into reaction vessels 6-1 in a microplate 6 . Then the micro plate 6 is transported on a reaction belt 8 . At the feed point 7 , a first microplate bar code reader 11-1 for reading out first microplate identification data 12-1 is arranged. After a predetermined reaction time, the microplate 6 is brought into a measuring point 10 in order to photoelectrically detect particle patterns which are formed on inclined bottom surfaces of reaction vessels 6-1 . At the measuring point 10 , a second microplate bar code reader 11-2 is arranged for reading out second microplate identification data 12-2 .

Sample identification members 2-2 attached to the sample tubes 2-4 containing blood samples 2-1 are read by a bar code reader 17 and the sample identification data 13 are supplied to a CPU 16 for processing the analysis results. At the measuring point 10 , the particle patterns, which have formed on the bottoms of the reaction vessels 6-1 , are photoelectrically recorded by a camera 31 and the data 14 thus acquired are fed to the CPU 16 .

In the CPU 16 , the first microplate identification data 12-1 , which have been detected by reading the microplate identification member 1 on the microplate 6 using the first bar code reader 11-1 , and the sample identification data 13 are processed to be one Form identification table, which shows the mutual relationship between the samples 2-1 and the microplate 6 . When the particle pattern is photoelectrically detected by the camera 31 , the identification table is searched out in accordance with the second microplate identification data 12-2 , which is read by reading the microplate identification member 1 by means of the second bar code reader 11-2 , to sample find to which the respective photo-electrically detected particle patterns belong. In the CPU 16, the measured particle pattern is analyzed in order to obtain analysis results which represent the agglutination or non-agglutination. Thereby, a reaction start time at which a sample 2-1 and a reagent are introduced into a reaction vessel 6-1 and a reaction end time at which a particle pattern is photoelectrically measured are recorded in the identification table. Then, a response time is calculated as the difference between the response start time and the response end time, and the response time thus calculated is compared with a predetermined standard response time in the CPU 16 to obtain a judgment result of the response time judgment. Then the analysis results and the evaluation results of the response time are output.

The microplate identification element 1 is attached to a microplate 6 according to FIG. 3. A number of reaction vessels 6-1 are formed in the microplate 6 , which are arranged in a matrix, each reaction vessel 6-1 having a conically shaped bottom. The microplate identification member 1 is arranged on the upper surface of the microplate 6 at a position where no reaction vessel 6-1 is formed. The microplate identification member 1 is made of synthetic resin or paper with an adhesive substance on a lower surface so that it can be easily removed from the microplate. On the front surface of the microplate identification member 1 , a bar code 1-1 is recorded, which can be read by the microplate barcode readers 11-1 and 11-2 , and also numerical or alpha numerical data 1-2 , which can be directly used by an operator are legible.

The microplate identification members 1 may differ from the embodiment shown also from other materials, for. B. made of ceramic or alloys that are hardly attacked by reagents. They can be glued to the microplate 6 with the help of adhesives, which are also hardly attacked by reagents. In the case of using such a microplate identification member 1 , it is no longer necessary to remove the same from the microplate 6 after each measurement. Furthermore, identification data can be formed in such a way that it can be recorded magnetically or electromagnetically.

In the automatic chemical analyzer, they are read first and second microplate identification data directions for collecting the microplate identification data on the microplate at the feed point and at the measuring point arranged so that the measured analysis data is always correct can be related to the samples and the zu reliability of the assignment of the analysis data can be improved can.

It is therefore possible to get the measured analysis data on the samples to relate, even if the operation of the automatic Analyzer was interrupted.

In addition, even if the microplate Identification data due to some circumstance the microplates have been properly grasped by viewing the microplate identification data on the microplate Identify identifier so that the measured Data can be correctly assigned to the samples.

It is therefore no longer necessary to measure the data discard or rerun. It is very advantageous for analysis in a large laboratory where everyone Day a large number of samples is processed.
