Description

The present invention relates to an arrangement according to Preamble of claim 1 and a corresponding one Method according to the preamble of patent claim 5.

According to the prior art, it is known that sub take, especially service companies, for further calculation or cost allocation of your telephone charges named customer's own fee data processing equipment (GDV facilities) operate. The GDV facility will be there the customer's own telecommunications system (telecommunications system) a proprietary interface using a cable connection permanently assigned. The GDV- Continuous establishment of the so-called fee data records, all relevant information (e.g. causer, destination, Duration) included for the cost allocation of the telephone charges. However, the fee records that are issued are often cursed tig, d. that is, there is usually no data storage in the PBX. The loss of fee records - caused by an interruption of the data transmission from the TK-An to the GDV facility - or due to a system crash of the local GDV facility leads to Ge which can no longer be assigned cause and thus loss for the customer. The same also applies in the event of a system crash of the PABX, if this but has a local storage unit.

The object of the present invention is in an arrangement with a telecommunications system according to the generic term of claim 1 to improve data security.

According to the invention, this is in an arrangement with the notes paint the claim 1 reached. With the help of the zentra len backup storage services is the central  Temporary backup of those incurred at the customer's site Fee data made. This is particularly advantageous that the data backup is taken over by specialists can and is no longer the responsibility of the customer. The PBX and the GDV facility can be correspondingly simple be built and trained little maintenance. moreover can handle a large number of PABX systems from a single source the. In addition, the data of several can advantageously PBX systems of a customer, for example a hotel chain, in stored in a central file. The backed up data are returned to the customer if necessary in the form of files made available online or offline. On the other hand the central backup storage is simpler than one central GDV facility. The same applies to that The inventive method according to claim 5.

Further dependent claims can be found in the other advantageous embodiments of the arrangement according to the invention and the procedure.

Nachfolgend sind vier Ausführungsbeispiele der erfindungs gemäßen Anordnung und des entsprechenden Verfahrens beschrie benes zeigen:Below are four embodiments of the Invention described according to the arrangement and the corresponding procedure benes show:

Fig. 4 shows the basic structure of an arrangement according to the invention according to the fourth embodiment.

According to Fig. 1 is a PABX 1 having a GDV device 3 via a V24-interface by means of a local cable line 5 is connected by wire. Charge data records output from the PBX 1 to the GDV facility 3 via the interface are in parallel via a second output interface (e.g. V24 interface) of the PBX 1 via a public line 7 or public networks (point to point -Connection, dial-up networks, Internet) to a central backup memory 9 . There, the data records for each connected PABX are securely stored on large, multiclient-compatible processing systems or the backup memory 9, and the latter is suitably monitored and maintained. The backup memory 9 monitors the corresponding second interface of the PBX 1 and the public line 7 for errors or failures in order to react quickly in the event of a problem and thus to be able to reliably avoid data loss. The respective PBX 1 is identified via a unique identifier in the data record transmitted from the PBX 1 to the backup memory 9 . The security software takes into account all the data of a transferred charge data record (connection duration, originator, destination, number of units, price of the connection, incoming or outgoing connection, personal identification number, trunk group, date and time of the telephone connection).

Textformat kunden- bzw. anlagenorientiert gespeichert. In the second embodiment according to FIG. 2, the telecommunications system 1 is assigned a local buffer memory 11 . In addition, in the arrangement according to FIG. 2 at the location of the telecommunications system 1 , the charge data output by the telecommunications system is temporarily stored. The charge data is written to the charge data buffer memory (buffer) 11 via the second output interface of the telecommunications system and is buffered there. The storage capacity varies depending on the amount of data traffic and may reduce transmission costs, since a transfer to the central backup memory 9 does not have to take place for each data record. The data are, for example, cyclically fetched from the buffer memory 11 by the backup memory 9 . The collection or transfer of the fee data can alternatively also be carried out from a central location according to freely definable specifications (time, fill level of the buffer) or once a day, regardless of the data volume incurred. Larger intervals, for example more than 24 hours, should be avoided for data security reasons. The individual fee data records are stored in a central location in the backup memory 9 as daily files in ASCII or text format in a customer or system-oriented manner.

In the third embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the central backup memory 9 is preceded by a buffer 13 . The data records are read from the buffer memory 11 into the buffer memory 13 and subjected to a data check. For example, the data consistency is checked. The buffer store 13 is either arranged locally in the area of the telecommunications system or preferably spatially distant in the central backup store 9 . The data records can also be stored in the intermediate storage 13 in the form of daily files. By using the buffer 13 , the transmission costs in particular can be reduced and the data security can be further increased. The data records can also be suitably reformatted in the buffer 13 via a protocol adaptation.

According to FIG. 4, in the fourth embodiment TK-Appendices 1 n s with the central backup memory 9 via public lines 7 are connected for data backup. According to FIG. 4, the n PBXs one or more clients are connected via a gene only peo latch 13 with the central backup storage 9 in conjunction. The charge data records are read from the backup memory 9 sequentially from the buffer memory 13 and assigned to a specific telecommunications system via an identifier. The identifier is stored in the data record and specifies the PBX from which the data record originates. Each PABX 1 according to FIG. 4 has its own GDV device 3 and a buffer memory 11 . However, there is alternatively also the possibility of reading out a certain number of PBXs sequentially from a single buffer memory 11 and assigning them to a customer (not shown).

The central backup memory 9 stores the data records of the various telecommunications systems in a respectively assigned area of the backup memory. As a result, the data records of each PBX can be stored in a predefined memory area and later quickly and easily made available again when required.

Since PABX systems from different manufacturers also use different data record formats and protocols, the data record supplied is reformatted in the buffer 13 via a protocol adaptation. Standardizing the data set is helpful, but not absolutely necessary. With the help of the backup memory 9 , the temporary backup (for example 6 months) of the fee data accruing at the customer's location is carried out at a central point. The saved data will be made available to the customer again in the form of files if required. This can be done online or offline.
