Memory of Fire

This first collection of poems by Clare Maynard, written over a ten year period, reflect on the author's journeys in Europe, including Berlin, Wales, Italy and Spain. Her unique visual language captures the changing seasons and cultures of both rural and urban landscapes, evoking both myth and historical events experienced by those who inhabit them.
