The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S.Lewis is a powerful book. It is written in a way the imagery just jumps off the pages like when Lucy is describing Mr. Tumnus’s cave (house). I enjoyed the many Christian undertones, like the children are called sons of Adam and daughters of Eve and when Aslan is sacrificed to protect one of the children and then he comes back to life. This can be a great way to create talk with young children about Christianity and doing right from wrong. It’s brilliantly written and an easy read I found it very hard to put this one down. I would definitely recommend this book to any one looking for a goodnight book for children or just something to escape with. Reading The Chronicles of Narnia from the beginning book The Magician’s Nephew to The Last Battle is an eye opening event, so don’t just stop at The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe continue with the entire set. You will explore new worlds and old concepts in this adventure through the wardrobe.

I bought these books to use with children I teach. I like the price and larger print of the books.
