Utopia, a masterpiece of literature, was written by the great English humanist Tomás Moro, a dear friend of Erasmus and at the time Lord Chancellor of England. We do not know what the author's real motivations were, but we do know that in a moment of forced inactivity he was distracted by painting the image of the perfect ideal state: Utopia. For this he chose a stylistic humanistic form: dialogue.
